The Motor Press Guild is proud to introduce a new feature for 2026, the Featured Artist Series. Each month, we spotlight the artists and photographers who capture the beauty, power, and artistry of the automotive world. Launched in March, our Featured Artist Series brings fresh creative talent to our homepage every month.

In March, we featured California Bay Area-based photographer Morgan Segal, whose portfolios span automobiles, rally racing, cycling, and beyond. With a sharp eye for motion and detail, Segal brings a dynamic, documentary-style perspective to automotive imagery that resonates with enthusiasts and industry insiders alike.

In April, we celebrate Austin, Texas-based artist Shan Fannin, known for her dynamic portrayals of vehicles using a distinctive blend of photorealism and abstraction, working in acrylics with both hands and brushes to create textured, energetic compositions. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions across the United States and has earned numerous awards, including international recognition. Shan’s work has achieved international acclaim and placement in prestigious locations. Her paintings have been featured on the billboards of Times Square in NYC and immortalized in space, with five of her images archived on the Moon through the Lunar Codex project.
